"Legend of Zelda" has been and still one of the most popular game in the gaming world. Staying 30 years in the gaming industry, it is a game that trully passed the test of time. If there is one thing that is odd about this game is that, not much is known about the main character, Link. There's only few information about him and none of those information is his real name.

As reported by Metro, Legend of Zelda game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and producer Eiji Aonuma had an interview with Game Informer. There are 51 interesting quick-fire questions from the interview in which the duo gave trolling answers. When asked about what is Link's real name, Miyamoto answered "Link". Yes, Link's name that has been hidden from gamers for 30 years is "Link Link".

If this troll sounds familiar, recall that the "Super Mario Bros" character "Mario" also has last name similar to his first name which makes his full name "Mario Mario". And now, the Legend of Zelda's main character was named "Link Link". It is not surprising if Pikachu's whole name turns out to be "Pikachu Pikachu" if name trolling is concerned. But it is not the case because it seems like Pokemon doesn't have last name.

But it is believed that Link actually doesn't have a real name whatsoever. His name "Link" is like a codename, much like James Bond's "007" tag. Hopefully, more information about Link will be revealed on "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild".

According to Den of Geek, other questions such as "What was the toughest game to develop" (in which the duo answered "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) and on whether Link will speak a full sense in the game (well the answer is he will not). When asked about a 2D Metroid game for Nintendo Switch, the duo just laugh. It seems like it needs more time to confirm if there will be a possible Metroid game for the Nintendo Switch.
