This year's "Super Bowl", the National Football League's championship game, brought in several memorable advertisements and movie trailers to viewers. One of them is the anticipated trailer of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5", titled "Dead Men Tell No Tales", that marks the return of everyone's favorite kooky captain of the Black Pear after six years.

The trailer surely provided its viewers with legitimate reasons to watch "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". Not only did it show Orlando Bloom reprising his role as the barnacle-faced "Will Turner", but it also revealed Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow covered with what seems to be mud.

Just Jared reported that aside from Sparrow and Turner, baddie, Javier Bardem's Captain Salazar and Kaya Scodelario's female lead Carina Smyth were given opportunities to be seen better on the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" trailer. Paul McCartney is also slated to appear on the movie, but was not seen on the TV spot.

Reportedly costing Disney at least $5 million according to Movieweb, the 30-second TV spot brought a clearer and better look on what to expect in "Pirates of the Caribbean 5". An extended version of the "Super Bowl" trailer was released online by the Mouse House after, with "Ain't No Grave" by Johnny Cash at the background.

Based on the movie's released synopsis, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will revolve around the escape of Captain Salazar from the Devil's Triangle, and his quest to find the Trident of Poseidon and purge the seas of all pirates in the process, including his rival Jack Sparrow. Sparrow, on his end, goes on his own quest to find the trident and stop Salazar, meeting new and old friends along the way.

Using the first movie, "The Curse of the Black Pearl" as inspiration, directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Rush based the tone and script of "Pirates of the Caribbean 5", with Jeff Nathanson penning the project. Prior to "Pirates of the Caribbean 5", "On Stranger Tides" broke several box office records and received mixed reviews from critics. "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will be docking on May 26, 2017.
