The world is only a few months away from seeing "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" on the big screen. Working on the hype train, Marvel has released some behind-the-scenes footage, featuring the ragtag team of outlaws and a lot of blue screens.

According to Comicbook, while most of the images center on Chris Pratt's "Star-Lord" and Zoe Saldana's "Gamora", other members of the team could also be seen, like Dave Bautista's "Drax the Destroyer". "Yondu", playd by Michael Rooker, and "Nebula", portrayed by Karen Gillian, could also be seen with the others, with at least one of them being a new addition to the team in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

In another photo, Pratt could be seen inside the "Milano's" cockpit that is connected to pneumatic pumps. Pratt and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" director James Gunn is having a conversation on the next, with the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" star having a handful of "Skittles". As for" Gamora", her shots are more on the active side, though if she is running to or from something is anyone's guess at this point.

Most of the images have been shown through the earlier trailers, or through the most recent "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" TV spot during Super Bowl LI, Screen Rant reported. The trailer also introduced "Ayesha", played by Elizabeth Debicki.

With the current digital effects in movies, the blue screen backdrops are likely to be replaced by a dark, starry background, as "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' is based on the team's journey through space.

Also, hat's off to the cameraman working with Rooker and Gillian, as their blue skin could easily blend into the bright blue background. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is arriving in theaters on May 2017.
