Not all of Superman's posse from "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will make it to the big screen version of "Justice League". The Zack Snyder-directed superhero movie will be without Laurence Fishburne. The 55-year-old actor revealed that he will not join the star studded cast of the major foray of DC into the silver screen.

"Justice League" is the next title in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) franchise. It is already star-studded as is, with Gal Gadot confirmed as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, and Jason Momoa ("Game of Thrones" Khal Drogo) as Aquaman, according to CinemaBlend. However, it is still a disappointment that Laurence Fishburne will not reprise his role as newspaperman Perry White.

When he was asked for the reason that he will not be appearing in "Justice League", Fishburne rationalized that he cannot clear a space in his schedule for even a day of filming. And people would want to see Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Green Lantern instead rather than a supporting act like Mr. White. These are DC comics characters people have been wanting to see in movies for years, added the actor, himself included.

Screen Crush wrote that fans would not be happy about his absence, as they are a discriminating bunch. Still, Zack Snyder is trudging along with his "Justice League". That is even though the other characters who will be making their first appearance barely have a background on the big screen.

"Justice League" is still nine months away from being released in theaters worldwide, though. And that is enough time for Zack Snyder and his team get most things right for the Perry White-less DCEU movie. The director, his crew, and the producers cannot please everyone, but there are people excited for the big superhero gathering.
