‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Finale Spoilers: BTS Video Confirms Steroline Wedding

A behind-the-scenes video for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale confirms the Steroline wedding. Caroline and Stefan are definitely getting married, if the bridal gown actress Candice King is wearing is any indication.

A happy ending is in the cards for Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) in "TVD" Season 8 Episode 16, "I Was Feeling Epic." The BTS video, supposedly taken during the filming of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale, shows Caroline in a wedding dress. Interestingly, Bonnie Bennet (Kat Graham) is in a dress fit for a maid of honor. She wore the same outfit as seen in her previous Instagram photo.

The two women appear emotional in the video, with King seen wiping at her eyes every now and then. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 creator Julie Plec is also in the footage, saying her farewells and expressing her gratitude to both casts. The showrunner also reminisced about the times she spent with both Graham and King on the set of “The Vampire Diaries.”

This is not the first time that behind-the-scenes footage from the show subtly confirmed Caroline and Stefan's wedding in "TVD" Season 8 Episode 16. Photos from TV Line hinted to the event happening in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale. One particular photo teased a wedding reception attended by brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder). The bright lights on the stage and on the ceiling, coupled with the table set for an intimate event, definitely point to the Steroline wedding.

Likewise, King and Wesley have since teased the Steroline wedding in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale in past interviews. Plec also hinted in a previous interview that filming for the wedding might happen in February. "We'll just have to see by February if we get to June. I make no promises," Plec told Too Fab.
