‘The Flash’ Season 3 Episode 13 Spoilers: Barry Fights Solovar; Julian, Caitlin Romance Teased

Photos from "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13 gave fans their first look at Barry's fight against Solovar, the leader of Gorilla City. Likewise, these images teased a likely romance develops between Caitlin and Julian.

In "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Cisco (Carlos Valdes), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Julian (Tom Felton) travel to Earth 2 to rescue Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanaugh). They learned from his daughter Jesse (Violett Beane) that he is in Gorilla City.

However, things take a turn for the worse when they reunite with an old nemesis-Grodd. The team ends up imprisoned by the ape. One photo from "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, "Attack on Gorilla City," show the gang placed in large cages. Barry seems unable to use his powers to save himself and his friends.

Apparently, Grodd has a plan for taking the guys captive. He wants their help to defeat another powerful gorilla--Solovar (Keith David). The CW shared a photo from "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13, which shows Barry up against a giant white ape. Another shot shows the animal letting out a menacing growl (scroll down to see the photos).

Will Barry succeed in defeating Solovar in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13? It remains unclear though if the giant ape is a villain in the story or not. However, according to Screener TV, it is obvious that Grodd and Solovar are at odds with each other. This would reportedly explain why Grodd wants the leader of Gorilla City dead.

Meanwhile, Caitlin and Julian seem to appear closer than ever in "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13. Photos from Whatsfilming.ca show the scientists looking happy with each other. One image shows Caitlin lock her arm around Julian's as they walked side-by-side. They have big smiles on their faces.

These photos from "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 13 certainly tease a romance could happen between Caitlin and Julian. However, there are bound to be challenges, especially since Caitlin's deceased husband Ronnie (Robbie Amell) has been confirmed to return.
