Country star Miranda Lambert bagged for herself five nominations for the 2017 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards. Blake Shelton's erstwhile wife is joined by Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban, who also earned five nominations. Surprisingly, Gwen Stefani's country crooner did not make it in even one category.

Legendary Lady Antebellum announced the list of nominees for the 2017 ACM Awards on "CBS This Morning" on Feb. 16, 2017, according to Forbes. Both Miranda Lambert and Florida Georgia line were marked under the Album of the Year trophy.

That is a coveted award that they are competing for with "The Weight of These Wings" and "Dig Your Roots" respectively. Aside from Lambert and Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, and Maren Morris are hoping to win the biggest trophy of the awards show. Blake Shelton's "If I'm Honest", however, is soundly missing from the same category.

But that is not all. Carrie Underwood also landed her name under Entertainer of the Year Rolling Stone wrote. This is the first time "The All-American Girl" singer is back in the category since 2009. She shares the space with Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Keith Urban. Sadly, nobody thought Blake Shelton entertaining enough for the 2017 ACAM Awards despite his performances in the past year.

Aside from Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks is also nowhere to be seen in any category. The country star, who is currently on his World Tour, was nominated for the Entertainer of the Year award too. Miranda Lambert herself missed out on this chance this year and so did Eric Church. He was also bypassed for Male Vocalist of the Year. Had he made it, this would have been the second year in a row that he did. Fortunately for him, the 2017 ACM Awards remembered him for Song of the Year for "Kill a Word".
