‘Destiny 2’ Update: Activision Confirmed First-Person Shooter Set To Be Released For 2017

Recent reports indicated that Activision has confirmed the release of the sequel of the first-person shooter game, "Destiny 2." Included in the announcement are also some details about the upcoming game.

During Bungie's annual earnings call, the company gave fans some hints about the first-person shooter game. It also added that the game will be delayed in its release, but gamers could expect great things from the gaming platform.

On the other note, Games Radar reported that "Destiny 2" will be released in Fall, probably by Q3 2017 and players on PC might also experience the game with space magic. "Destiny 2" was already known to the public for years now, yet the Activision was just confirmed this month. During the press release, Bungie game developer promised to release the game next year though the exact date was yet specified.

Forbes also reported that the development of "Destiny 2" has been doing well and that the game will be accessible to the players, especially to the new ones. The delay of the game is making sure that everything is perfect and that the fans will be kept hook with "Destiny 2."

Meanwhile, a well known Destiny insider, Kotaku's Jason Schreier shared a bit of info.The game has met some consequences after failing to release during the fall of 2017. This will still force the company to continue the release of the game this year, as "Bungie workers' stock vesting schedule will base upon the release of "Destiny 2."

However, this issue has been denied by the Activision, as it says that the company is not facing any threat upon releasing the game, yet it will be rewarded after the game has been released this year. Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg shared that the development of the game goes well, Hirshberg even praised the company for doing a great job.
