Simon Cowell and Niall Horan seem thrilled about Bradley Walsh album that outsold Zayn Malik's debut album. The music mogul was responsible for Zayn's success during his early days in the industry. They were the ones who also mentored him in his time in One Direction.

Simon Cowell and his former protégé Zayn Malik seem to have sour relationship after Zayn quit One Direction in 2015. It appeared to be a very disappointing move for Simon Cowell. It can be intriguing that a person will decide to experience making solo albums and quit the biggest. Cowell was pretty much devastated with how things went.

According to Huffington Post, the host of 'The Chase' revealed that Simon Cowell "thoroughly enjoyed" hearing this news.  Walsh's 'Chasing Dreams' was best-selling debut by a Brit in 2016 whilst Malik's debut since leaving One Direction, 'Mind of Mine,' fell short.

Bradley was the only new British artist to release a record that achieved gold selling status in 2016. His album 'Chasing Dreams' became such a hit. Even Walsh himself couldn't believe that his album did it better than he expected. According to  Unreality TV, he didn't really expect the success of his album. He just kaughed it out when he found out about it.

"I thought it was hysterical. I am probably the oldest new artist Sony has ever signed. Niall Horan was sending me messages, laughing his head off." said Walsh. He also mentioned that he got a great congratulatory greeting from Simon Cowell.

Even though things got a little messy with the parties involved, Bradley still shared his warm comments for Zayn's album. He just set aside comparisons because they are obviously two artists who grows wings on their own. They have different styles and definitely have different types of music to produce. The said reactions from Zayn's former mentors might be a little intriguing. So stay tuned for more updates!
