Jailbreaking is the ultimate means of iPhone users that wants more customization for their devices. The Jailbreal tools existed because of these master jailbreakers who devotes their time and skills to create the tools. Unfortunately for the Jailbreaking community, one of the most famous jailbreak tool developer Luca Todesco is said to be retiring soon.

According to Forbes, Luca Todesco will stop working on the Yalu 10.2, which means that the tool will never work for iPhone 7 devices, ever. Unless there is someone who can continue the work of Todesco, but with the upcoming iOS 10.3, it is very unlikely. Todesco released the code of his work on Github and is available for anyone who wants to continue the project or at least take a look at how Jailbreaking code is done.

Todesco wrote on one of his Twitter posts that he will stop all public researches after dropping the Yalu iOS 10.2. He added that the "idiocy of the jailbreak community is too much to handle" for him. With Todesco out of the Jailbreak train, it seems like this is the end of Jailbreaking. This is because he was horded by pleads for new jailbreak tool for a long time, and when he released it, only few wants to jailbreak their devices.

Redmond Pie asserted that there may be other skilled jailbreak tool developers that are working silently. The community still has TaiG or Pangu that has been silent about jailbreaking yet. I The greatest challenge for the jailbreak tool developers right now is the upcoming iOS 10. In this iOS version, Apple will introduce Apple's File System (APFS). This new file system aims to address the core issues of the existing HFS+ that is currently in use today.

The most stable version of the Jailbreaking tool is Pangu's iOS 9.2-9.3.3. While Todesco's Yalu 10.2 is the latest version of Jailbreaking tool.
