The next Star Wars film has yet to confirm Han Solo's reappearance after his death on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But critics suggest that Solo's death is likely to affect the storyline of Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi.

It was reported that a video by Mike Zeroh presented the possibility of a funeral scene for Han Solo in "Star Wars" Episode 8. The scene will affect the on-screen characters as well as the fans, as they might get emotional after seeing it because of their strong connection with Solo's character.

According to NME, Kylo Ren was also seen emotionally disturbed in the last "Star Wars" film and because of this, a scene wherein he regrets killing his father may be present in the upcoming film. But if this happens, Supreme Leader Snoke may suffer the consequences. Snoke has been training Kylo Ren and if he gets emotional, there is a possibility that he may join the light side of the Force therefore Mike Zeroh stated that Snoke might erase all of Ren's memories to complete his training.

Games Radar also reported that the upcoming "Star Wars" film may show how Princess Leia is affected by Han Solo's death. In The Force Awakens, Princess Leia told Han Solo, "If you see our son, bring him home." Princess Leia will feel like Solo's death was her fault.

In the latest Star Wars film, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", it can be recalled that Han Solo (Harrison Ford) died. Han Solo confronted Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and told him that Ren was his son. Kylo Ren got furious, took out his lightsaber and killed his father in an instant. The Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi is directed by Rian Johnson. It will be released on December 15, 2017.
