‘Major Crimes’ Season 5 Spoilers: Sharon Raydor Fights Winnie Davies For Promotion

Spoilers abound for the return of "Major Crimes" Season 5 this Wednesday. One thing to watch out for is Sharon Raydor potentially hitting someone with her car. It will not be a surprise if she does, though. That is because she will do everything she can to block Winnie Davies from ascending to Assistant Chief of Special Operations.

Things sure are getting more heated up in "Major Crimes" Season 5 since it took a long winter break. Aside from becoming a potential criminal, Sharon Raydor may get a bump up the office hierarchy. Show creator James Duff told TVLine that her heart really is not in the potential new job.

However, she also does not want Winnie Davies to have it. For Sharon, the current Chief Deputy of Operations threatens the organization of the Los Angeles Police Department. On top of that, she has no love lost for the Major Crimes department.

But if Sharon Raydor does get the job in "Major Crimes" Season 5, then it will be a well-deserved promotion. Her team works like a well-oiled machine they do their job and they do it efficiently.

Still, the way up the ladder will not be easy. Aside from Winnie Davis, Commander of Criminal Intelligence Leo Mason is also being considered for the position. Like Sharon, he does not want the seat. And like Sharon, he also does not want Winnie up there because he is afraid of her.

Competition is tough for that one seat in LAPD. Of course, Winnie Davies will do all she possibly could just to get her hands on that chair. However, the tug-of-war for power between Winnie, Sharon Raydor, and Leo Mason is not the only thing to watch out for the return of "Major Crimes" Season 5.
