‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 2 Spoilers: Rip Likely To Stay Evil

"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 may never see the good Rip Hunter again. Even if the team brings the old Rip back, Caity Lotz said that they may never trust him again after all the evil things he has done.

"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 took a dark turn following Rip's betrayal on his team. He worked with the Legion of Doom to retrieve parts of the Spear of Destiny and almost killed Sara Lance in doing so. There may never be hope for the former Time Master to revert to his good ways.

This is what Caity Lotz (Sara Lance) hinted in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. She talked about where "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 Episode 12 left off, with Rip back on the Waverider. He may be on board the ship and has control over Gideon, but this does not put him back in the captain's seat. After all, Rip did horrible things while under the influence of the Legion of Doom.

The team may no longer trust him even if he turns good again. Lotz hinted that in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 Sara may not be too forgiving this time. She may never trust Rip again.

 "In my head, Rip's done a lot of things to Sara that she didn't like and didn't appreciate. She has a love-hate with him relationship already. She loves him, but she hates him and that's kind of a hard thing to forgive," Lotz told publication.

Meanwhile, evil Rip continues to torment his team in Tuesday's episode of "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2. In Episode 13, "Land of the Lost," the rogue Rip has full control of the Waverider. The trailer showed him order Gideon to self-destruct the ship. According to the synopsis from Comicbook, the Waverider eventually crashes and traps the team seventy million years in the past.

Sara and Jax agree to enter Rip's mind, under Rory's suggestion, in an effort to bring the good Time Master back. However, they found out his subconscious contains unpleasant things. There Sara and Jax must fight their evil doppelgangers. Will the team bring back the old Rip or he stays evil in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 Episode 13? Fans will have to tune in to the March 7 episode to find out.
