Fans of the NBC hit, “This is Is,” should prepare themselves for an emotional rollercoaster ride in its first season finale. So far, all fans know is that Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) will die during his triplets’ teen years. Several theories have floated around regarding his death but Justin Hartley warns the fans to expect the worst.

The actor, who plays Kevin in “This is Us,” teased that his screen dad’s death scene will be something that will be talked about for a long time. Also, it is not anything like the fan theories say how Jack's dying would go down according to TMZ.

Some of these include Jack being a victim of an accident. Others think that Rebecca will somehow be involved if the Valentine episode is anything to go by. There is even a speculation that Jack will end up taking his own life in the “This is Us” season finale.

Hartley revealed to US Weekly that his family’s story will take a dark turn and things between Jack and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) will really get real. All the actor is saying at the moment is that Jack’s death will be, “absolutely heartbreaking and devastating and it’s well worth the wait.”

Meanwhile, fans have been beyond sad when William (Ron Cephas Jones) died in a heartbreaking episode last week in “This is Us”. Randall (Sterling K. Brown) took his biological father on a road trip to Memphis and would later find him unconscious in bed. They were able to talk earlier and William took the moment to tell Randall that he was always one of the most important people in his life.

If the most recent death in “This is Us” proved to be a tearjerker, one could just imagine how Jack’s death will get. Hartley revealed that the show sometimes get so emotional that the actors themselves end up in tears after their scenes. For now, all the fans could do is wait and brace themselves for the worst.
