Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Not Divorcing Says Source; Still Keeping United Front for Kids

Contrary to reports that Jennifer Garner was going to divorce Ben Affleck, sources close to the couple say that there is no change in their marital status. Their relationship is very fluid and it is still unclear what awaits them in the future.

Almost two years had passed since the Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck jointly announced their separation after nearly ten years of marriage. On Friday last week, the “Alias” actress was said to be finally ready to file for divorce reports E! News. In fact, the “Daredevil” co-stars have taken trips without their kids – Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 4 – last year. This is in the hope of trying to rebuild their relationship. Ever since their split, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been committed to co-parenting their kids.

Their being friendly exes most often confuse fans. A source said that there have been times when a reconciliation appeared imminent because of their common goal in protecting their kids. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have always maintained a united front and their children have been their number one priority. The source added that the spirit of their relationship has not changed even with the separation.

Even after they split, Ben Affleck continued to live on the same property as Jennifer Garner and the kids but in a guest house. It still remains to be his primary residence according to AOL. After they announced their split in 2015, he had an affair with the kid’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian according to reports. This was denied by the actor several times.

In a recent interview, however, Ben Affleck called Jennifer Garner a superhero mom. He also called himself as lucky to have her as a partner in co-parenting their kids.

Whether Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck divorce, reconcile or simply keep the status quo in their relationship, one thing is for sure. Their modern family, as she referred to it once, will remain intact and both parents’ top priority.
