She saw history being created in front of her eyes, as Leonardo DiCaprio announced her name as the winner in the Best Actress category, Emma Stone became emotional and finally believed that it was the real Emma, the one who won.

Nominated for the film "La La Land", a musical that takes you into the dream world of artists, Emma has nailed her part with utter depth and magnificence, making it almost impossible to get our eyes off her. The now Oscar winner started it all, when she was 14 years old, according to People. A ninth grade student then, she dropped out of her school and then moved to L.A. to become an actress. And there she is today, a global figure, a renowned fashion icon and the recipient of the most prestigious award in Hollywood.

However, her journey has not been so easy till now. "I had this Howard Beale-like moment," she told The Hollywood Reporter about her realization, citing Peter Finch's character's iconic meltdown in Network. She further exclaimed that she had a sudden realization that moving to Los Angeles was the best decision she has ever taken for herself.  "It's the last period of the day, and I have a revelation that I needed to move to Los Angeles as soon as possible because that's where I needed to go. I know, it was crazy", she revealed.

She also remembered the time she made her first Hollywood PowerPoint presentation to show it to her parents. She also rejoice the fact how her parents allowed her to pursue her dream and become a star, she is today. She also contended that being a child she used to suffer from panic and anxiety attacks, which was one reason they encouraged her to pursue acting as a career. Acting and improve comedy proved very helpful in overcoming her anxiety.
