'Young Justice' Season 3 Cast To Include Kid Flash; Voice Actor Jason Spisak Confirms Return

The "Young Justice" Season 3 release date is still up in the air, but production has already started. Most of the main characters will be returning, and there's a rumor that even Kid Flash will return after sacrificing his life in Season 2.

After "Young Justice" Season 2 ended, fans started to binge watch the show on Netflix to show that there was still a lot of interest in the animated series. Last year, Warner Bros. announced that "Young Justice" Season 3 was confirmed and that it would be released in 2017. The show had amassed over 25 million unique views in every season, prompting the studio's executives to produce a third season.

Many characters will be returning to the show, including Kid Flash or Wally West, according to Inverse. Fans will remember that Kid Flash disappeared into an energy wave in the last season. Comic book fans will know, though, that there's always a way to bring back dead superheroes. Kid Flash will probably be back in "Young Justice" Season 3.

Jason Spisak, who voice acted Kid Flash, posted a video clip from his animated movie, "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract". He wrote, "A tiny taste of Wally from the new #TTJudasContract movie for those who can't wait for #YJSeason3!" Spisak's tweet is a hint that Wally West will be seen again in "Young Justice" Season 3, but the production team has not announced how it plans to bring back Kid Flash.

In the comics, it is Barry Allen who dissolves into the Speed Force. Wally West then took over as the Flash. There's a possibility that, in the "Young Justice" Season 3, Wally will get rescued or will somehow find a way to get back to his friends.

"The Walking Dead" actor Khary Payton will also return to lend his voice as Aqualad, Comicbook reported. Cartoon Network hasn't released yet all the cast and character names, but "Young Justice" Season 3 will still be produced by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman.
