‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2017 Contestants, Celebrity Pairings, Returning Cast Members And More

"Dancing With The Stars" Season 24 premiere is just around the corner and a fresh array of celebrity names have been revealed who will try their luck on the dance floor. Along with the new faces will join some returning celebrities, looking to grace the DWTS stage again.

The latest athlete who is making news after she announced that she will be participating in "Dancing With The Stars" 2017, is 1992 Olympic Bronze medalist and a 1994 Olympic Silver medalist, Nancy Kerrigan. Kerrigan is best remembered for the viral footage of her hugging her knees and crying after being assaulted by a goon, hired by Tonya Harding's ex-husband, New York Daily News reports.

Kerrigan will not be the only Olympic medalist on the celebrity dance reality show. Simon Biles, Olympic Gold medalist, will also join DWTS family this season.

A Firth Harmony singer, Norman Kordei, will be exercising her leg muscles, instead of her vocal cords, as a contestant on DWTS. In addition to her singing talent, Kordei is also a humanitarian, working as a global ambassador for the American cancer society. She believes that the show will give her a unique platform to raise awareness regarding breast cancer and vaccinations.

Heather Morris, who has a huge fan following for portraying the character of Brittany S. Pierce for 6 seasons on "Glee", will be competing on "Dancing With The Stars" Season 24. She will be joined by fellow TV personality, Nick Viall, who is "The Bachelor" 2017.

Kym Johnson, who had previously participated in the competition in 2015, with her present husband, Robert Herjavec, will be making a comeback on "Dancing With The Stars", after promising that she was done with the show. "I love the show and I love to still be part of it, but you know, I still want to hang up my dance shoes and what a way to end," Johnson had told Entertainment Tonight. "It's like, 'Thank you, Dancing With the Stars." 

Some of the celebrity pairings have already been finalized, while others are yet to be decided. Simone Biles will be paired with Sasha Farber. Nick Viall will be partnered with Peta Murgatroyd. Normani Kordei will get paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, while Erika Jayne will dance with Gleb Savchenko. Charo will be seen dancing with Keo Motsepe. And Bonner Bolton will shake a limb with Sharna Burgess.
