After the latest "Rick and Morty" a clip being a troll and everything, fans are wondering if there will still be another season for the show. The latest episode has been aired almost two years ago, but after so many delays, the season 3 is still not being released. Dan Harmon stated that this was all because of him and co-creator Justin Roiland fighting all the time this third season. Later on, the author clarified his statement on his recent Twitter post.

Dan Harmon stated that this was all because of him and co-creator Justin Roiland fighting all the time this third season. But it seems to be not the case as the author clarified his statements on Twitter. "Rick and Morty" creator Dan Harmon gave an explanation about the show's late delays. As reported by Independent, Harmon stated that the reason on one of his interviews for Indie Wire that these delays has been brought by his fights with co-creator Justin Roiland. Harmon stated that he and Roiland didn't fight during season 2, which makes it easier to produce.

Later on, Harmon clarified that what he meant by "fight" isn't fist fighting or something physical. Instead, they always fight like "what joke to do" and such. Since the production is aiming for perfection, clash of ideas are something to be expected.

It is hard to produce a great show. Even if the production team is very talented, the pressure to replicate the success of a great show is proven to be a tedious work. As reported by Comic Book, the "Rick and Morty" creator catched all the blame, saying that the show is late because of him.

"If Justin were here he'd agree," Harmon elaborated. "He and I would go, 'Yeah, we fucked up,' and it's hard to put your finger on how we fucked up. Rick and Morty keeps taking longer and longer to write, and I don't know why."

Harmon later on added that he still doesn't have a release date for season 3. It's not he's not allowed to reveal anything, rather he's got nothing to reveal. With the voice overs finally running, hopefully, the show will be aired sometime this year.
