'Teen Wolf' Season 6B Update: Scott to Face Effects of the Wild Hunt, His Father, New Villain

Fans won't have to wait long for the "Teen Wolf" Season 6B premiere, which will arrive this summer. At the end of the mid-season finale, the seniors made their final goodbye. The next ten episodes will feature Scott as the outsider again. His father will return to shake things up and the characters will feel the consequences of the Wild Hunt.

Executive producer and showrunner Jeff Davis told TV Line that "Teen Wolf" Season 6B will revolve around Scott's transition from a struggling werewolf to a full-time alpha leader. Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack will encounter their toughest foe and Davis promised that the next ten episodes will be like an extended farewell to the cast and world of "Teen Wolf".

So far, Davis has been talking about Scott coming back to Beacon Hills to face a threat, but he hasn't revealed much about the other characters. He did assure fans that former characters will return for a last goodbye. Scott's father, FBI Agent Rafael McCall, is confirmed to the join the "Teen Wolf" Season 6B cast. This means that the supernatural problem in Beacon Hills will be huge enough for the FBI to get involved like it did in earlier seasons.

Agent McCall's arrival will also cause some strain in the blossoming romance between Melissa McCall and Chris Argent, a relationship not many fans saw coming. The seniors are all going to different colleges, with Stiles going to George Washington University, Lydia to MIT, and Scott to UC Davis. Malia still has to do summer classes to graduate, and there's still the problem of Theo and where he fits in the upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 6B plot.

According to Davis, the next half of the last season will jump to a few months after the events of "Riders of the Storm". This doesn't mean that the Wild Hunt events will be forgotten, though. Davis told Entertainment Weekly that the Wild Hunt will still play a role in the next "Teen Wolf" Season 6B episodes. "Everything is cause-and-effect in our world and we'll discover that the events of 6B couldn't have happened without the Wild Hunt coming through Beacon Hills," Davis said.

Another thing that Davis teased is the relationship between Malia and her father, Peter. While they certainly will return for "Teen Wolf" Season 6B, Stiles hasn't been confirmed yet. The next half of the season will focus on Scott and his maturity, which means that other characters will take a back seat.

Stiles is a fan favorite and the first half of Season 6 was dedicated to the value of his character in the show. There's a possibility that he might not appear so prominently in the next few episodes, but he'll certainly make an appearance since "Teen Wolf" Season 6B will be the MTV show's final season.
