When a website published the Glastonbury 2017 line-up, fans went wild seeing Diana Ross, Ed Sheeran, and other big names on the list. However, Emily Eavis, the Glastonbury organizer, said that it was fake and that the real line up will be published soon.

Website Clashfinder leaked the Glastonbury 2017 line-up recently and it featured singers Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Diana Ross, Imagine Dragons, and Foo Fighters, among others. The news took the online world by storm, but Emily Eavis, who is organizing the event, said that the list is not real. According to Metro, Eavis took to Twitter to discourage the spread of the fake news.

Ed Sheeran was asked about the leaked Glastonbury 2017 line-up and the 26-year-old British singer said he didn't know yet if he will headline the festival. He also said that he might be doing another music event instead, though he didn't specify the name. Clashfinder released a full line-up, but the site is a public one, so entries can be edited by anyone. Therefore, anything published on it should be taken with a grain of salt unless officially confirmed.

While it's not clear whether Ed Sheeran will indeed perform as part of the Glastonbury 2017 line-up, two performers are certain to join the event. BBC Newsbeat reported that only Radiohead and the Foo Fighters have been confirmed for this year's Glastonbury music festival. The owner of Clashfinder came clean and said that the list was actually a dream line-up created by users of the website.

Lorde did not confirm her part in the Glastonbury 2017 line-up, but she did tease that she might be performing at Worthy Farm, where the festival will be held. "Farms are cool, I'm a big fan of farms so who knows? I love a farm but that's all I'm saying," she said during a radio interview. Even the rapper Wiley hinted that this year's Glastonbury will be fun and amazing, but he did not confirm his performance for the event.
