Lionsgate will premier its 2017 "Power Rangers" movie on March 24 and its recent video clip teases the appearance of Alpha 5. The robot is a staple in every "Power Rangers" movie and series, so fans were glad to see him in the upcoming film. Also, Elizabeth Banks has been cast as Rita Repulsa, who will have a deeper connection to the Rangers in this darker and more serious adaptation.

A lot of fans dressed up as Power Ranges in the 90s and now, their favorite TV heroes will have a brand new reboot in March 2017. The upcoming "Power Rangers" will revolve around five teenagers who must band together to defend their town, Angel Grove, from alien monsters. Their main enemy is Rita Repulsa, which will be played by Elizabeth Banks, who is well-known for portraying Effie Trinket in "The Hunger Games".

According to PEOPLE, Rita's character will have a backstory that connects her to the current Rangers. The "Power Rangers" director Dean Israelite also hinted that Rita will be a more three-dimensional villain who is somewhere between insane and evil. He also said that the movie will be a coming-of-age action adventure that will reflect the lives of modern teenagers in a very diverse society.

Aside from this new layer in the Power Ranger mythos, fans will get to see Alpha 5. The new "Power Rangers" trailer reveals the main characters finding a huge alien ship and meeting Alpha 5 (Bill Hader) for the first time. Old fans might not instantly recognize the robot, though, as it just got a very new paint job and upgrade.

Screen Rant reported that several other characters will get a new design as well. The "Power Rangers" Zords will get a new look as will Zordon (Bryan Cranston), the Rangers' mentor, and Goldar, one of Rita's henchmen, who will look completely different from the one in the original TV show.

The main "Power Rangers" cast includes Becky G as Trini (Yellow Ranger), RJ Cyler as Billy (Blue Ranger), Naomi Scott as Kimberly (Pink Ranger), Ludi Lin as Zack (Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery as Jason (Red Ranger). They, too, will be getting new costume designs. The movie will hit theaters on March 24.
