As the news broke that the great shonen anime "Naruto Shippuden" is approaching its end, an update regarding its successor was also released. On Thursday, fans of the highly-touted show got another glimpse into the makings of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" and its theme songs.

This March will be the month that "Naruto Shippuden" will air its final episode and will show Naruto and Hinata's happy ever after. That is sad news for fans who have been with the show since it first aired more than a decade ago. However, at its heels is the story of the next generation of Konoha; that of Naruto's and his comrades' children. Because this coming April, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" and its theme songs will keep the flame alive.

Comic Book shared that "Weekly Shonen Jump" revealed in its latest issue who will be working on the "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" theme songs. These are the bands KANA-BOON and The Peggies. KANA-BOON is in charge of the opening theme titled "Baton Road." On the other hand, The Peggies are taking care of the ending theme and have titled it "Dreamy Journey."

Those who have been watching "Naruto" would already be familiar with KANA-BOON and their sound. The band, who will entertain fans again with their "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" theme, has previously worked on other "Naruto" titles. These would be "Shippuden" (16th opening "Silhouette") as well as "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" ("Diver"), Crunchyroll wrote. The four-member male band have also worked on other notable anime projects. One is "Mobile Gundam Wing: Iron-Blooded Orphans," the latest in the "Gundam" franchise. Another is "The Perfect Insider," a mystery anime based on a 1996 novel by Hiroshi Mori titled "Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider."

Meanwhile, their "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" theme is the first time the female trio The Peggies are lending their sound to the "Naruto" franchise. The all-female group released their most recent single last October 2016.
