“Lucifer” Season 2 has fans excited about Lucifer (Tom Ellis) getting married with reportedly a new character when it returns from its winter hiatus on May 1. The episode’s title, “Candy Morningstar,” has spurned speculations as to who the woman is and what exactly is she in his life.

Some “Lucifer” Season 2 fans speculate that Candy might be Lucifer’s sister. She could also be just a Las Vegas stripper who he sleeps with and ends up marrying while he is there. Still, some fans would love the idea that Candy Morningstar is a disguise that Chloe Decker (Lauren German) takes on while working on a case.

In the winter finale of “Lucifer” Season 2, Chloe collapsed and was hospitalized, which left Lucifer desperately looking for a cure. He had to temporarily stop his heart to be able to enter Hell and look for the person who had the antidote. After being revived, Ella (Aimee Garcia) and Dan (Kevin Alejandro) helped him complete the antidote.

Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) tried to make peace with Lucifer but he disowns her for deceiving him. The “Lucifer” Season 2 midseason finale ended with Chloe discovering that Lux had already gone out of business and Lucifer nowhere to be found. But, he went away with a heavy heart after discovering the truth about Chloe according to TV Line. By the end of the episode, a breakup seemed There will to be imminent. Lucifer may find another woman, who he can end up marrying, to get back at Chloe.

When the second half of “Lucifer” Season 2 returns, the devil will finally come out of hiding. Spoilers say that the murder of an up and coming guitarist will force him out to reconnect with the team. When Lucifer does come out, it will be with a mystery woman. Speculations point to her being his new wife but others say that she is most likely one of his siblings. Maybe, Charlotte will be close to getting her wish of having her family back home.

Meanwhile, Fox has announced the renewal for the third season of “Lucifer” according to Entertainment Weekly. Fox president, David Madden, hailed it as one of the rare shows that just keeps getting better and better. He added that the entire cast headed by Ellis has made their characters three-dimensional. Madden also called the production team composed of Jerry Bruckheimer, Len Wiseman and the rest as one of the best in the business.
