‘Gotham’ Season 3 Episode 15 Spoilers: What Happens In ‘How the Riddler Got His Name’

Edward Nygma takes the persona of the Riddler when "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15 returns on air. The second half of the season delves into the history of the villain in an episode titled "How the Riddler Got His Name."

"How the Riddler Got His Name" marks the debut of another of Gotham's villains--the Riddler. Fox has released a sneak peek at "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15, which reveals Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) as the villain. His knack for solving any puzzle eventually puts him in the shoes of the Riddler.

The promo for "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15 shows Nygma succumb to his alter ego. "All my life, I felt there was someone inside of me. It's now to be him," he says in the preview. The trailer for "How the Riddler Got His Name" also gives fans a good look at Nygma in that iconic Riddler green suit.

Nygma is clearly up to some misfits in "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15. He blows up a hall full of people and crashes what appears to be a press meeting. All the while, he leaves his iconic question mark logo for the police to find.

Elsewhere, in "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) continues to being the city's bounty hunter. He also starts to question the events in his life especially when it comes to his father's relations.

Likewise, it is likely that "How the Riddler Got His Name" will also pick up where the winter finale left Jerome. Fans may see Jerome back in action as the Joker in "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15. According to Entertainment Weekly, he might be recruiting new members for his gang in Arkham City.

Riddler may not be the only villain appearing in "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15. Executive producer John Stephens hinted at the Joker's return since the second half will delve into the mythology of some of Gotham's villains. "It is 100% our intention to bring Jerome back," he told Zap2it.

Regardless, the promo for "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 15 suggests that Nygma's transformation into the Riddler is the focus of the story. Fans will eventually see how he becomes a full-on villain when "How the Riddler Got his Name" airs on April 24.
