‘The Originals’ Season 4 Episode 2 Spoilers: Cami, Rebekah Returns; EP Talks Hope’s Dream

Photos from "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 2 revealed the return of Cami and Rebekah, which promises an emotional reunion for Klaus and Marcel. Meanwhile, executive producer Michael Narducci revealed the importance of Hope's serpent dream in unraveling the mystery of the whole season.

The CW has released photos for "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 2, "No Quarter," which gives a sneak peek at Cami (Leah Pipes) and Klaus' reunion. The image shows the bartender talking to Klaus, while the latter is confined to his chains.

Narducci warned that their reunion in "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 2 is going to be emotional and not to mention sad. After all, Cami is dead. She appears only as a figment of Klaus' hallucinations. "Klaus is going to be experiencing this terrible torment and one of the moments of solace and relief that he gets is conjuring this memory of this person who meant so, so much to him," Narducci told TV Line.

Aside from Cami, Rebekah (Claire Holt) also returns in "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 2. Contrary to Cami and Klaus' reunion, Marcel and Rebekah have a less-than-romantic encounter. The former lovers are at each other's throats again. The photo shows Rebekah point a dagger at Marcel's heart. Consequences that led to their encounter remain unknown, although it probably has something to do with Rebekah saving her brother from Marcel.

Rebekah is set to appear in several episodes as Holt has signed on for half of the season. Meanwhile, it is likely that Cami only appears in "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 2.

In related news, "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 2 picks up where the premiere ended with a cliffhanger about the serpent sigils. A recap from Entertainment Weekly revealed that Hope has been dreaming about the mysterious symbols that are scattered all over the city. Narducci called these sigils as the "ouroboros, a serpent eating itself." He said that it is the key to unraveling the whole mystery of the season.

Likewise, in "The Originals" Season 4 Episode 2 the Mikaelson siblings join Hayley rescue Klaus from Marcel. The promo shows Elijah and Marcel together for what could only be an intense face-off.
