‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Drops Hint Of Jaime, Cersei Futures

"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is not due to air on HBO until July and fans are already hungry for tidbits on the goings-on of the show. Luckily for them, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau may have dropped a juicy spoiler regarding Jaime's future and Cersei's love life.

The Daily Beast interviewed Nikolaj Coster-Waldau recently regarding his noir film, "Small Crimes." But at the end of the discussion, the topic of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 came up. The actor candidly answered the questions and statements thrown at him by the interviewer and at one point almost revealed what is in store for Jaime Lannister. With regard to that, he said that the one-armed blond twin has to take over their deceased father's position. Furthermore, the Danish actor also dropped something about Cersei (Lena Headey) potentially having other suitors.

Unfortunately, before the 46-year-old Dane spills more "Game of Thrones" Season 7 beans, he stopped himself. However, that was enough to tell fans that the next run of George R.R. Martin's series adaptation that there will be huge plot twists. By his words, Jaime is likely to take up the mantle left behind by the Lannister patriarch. And with regard to Cersei, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's character's twin, she could be cozying up with somebody else. Mail Online wrote that there is speculation that this new suitor is no other than Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk).

The new leader of the Ironborn was introduced in the sixth season of the hit HBO show. But after promising his brethren that he will give them the world, he did not appear in any episode for the remainder of the season. Nevertheless, it is likely that the usurper uncle of siblings Yara (Gemma Whelan) and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) will appear again in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. And his comeback will be more exciting if he will indeed contest the hand of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's sister.
