'It' Movie Gets Thumbs Up From Stephen King; New Trailer Reveals 'Part One: Loser's Club'

The "It" movie in 2017 has just released a new trailer and Stephen King is loving it. He posted on Twitter that the new remake has succeeded his expectations. The author of the novel, which the film is based on, said that fans of the books should stop worrying because the producers have done a good job.

Stephen King once expressed that he didn't like the 1980 film adaptation of his book, "The Shining", but he's completely on board with the 2017 "It" movie. According to Syfy Wire, director Andrés Muschietti ("Mama") has been filming the movie and King saw an early screening. The King of Horror gave it the thumbs up.

The "It" movie will be released later this year. It will actually be the first of a two-part movie series. The first part, which will premiere this year, is officially called "It Part One: Loser's Club". The second part will feature with the older versions of the Loser's Club and their final confrontation with Pennywise the Clown.

"It" movie producer Seth Grahame-Smith ("The Lego Batman Movie", "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter") also said that King thought the producers did a good job on the film. King isn't always expressive about the movie adaptations of his novels. In fact, he still hasn't said much about "The Dark Tower" adaptation, which will hit the theaters in five months.

According to The Independent, the "It" movie cast consists of Bill Skarsgård ("Allegiant") as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, Jaeden Lieberher ("Midnight Special"), Finn Wolfhard ("Stranger Things"), Wyatt Oleff ("Guardians of the Galaxy") and Nicholas Hamilton ("Captain Fantastic").

Part of the "It" movie crew, meanwhile, are writers Chase Palmer and Cary Fukunaga ("True Detective") and director of photography Chung-Hoon Chung ("Me and Earl and the Dying Girl"). The movie will be released nationwide on Sept. 8, 2017. Meanwhile, fans can check out the new trailer below, which was just recently released.
