Rapper Chief Keef was involved in a drug bust on April 10, Saturday, where his car and an accompanying vehicle was stopped and searched near the Miami Beach. He was consequently charged with DUI after a drug expert was called to the scene and a sobriety test was administered on Keef.

Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was in the driver's seat of his car when his green Maclaren was stopped along with another vehicle behind him. According to New York Daily News, the person riding in the passenger seat of Keef's car was caught red-handed when he got out of the car to hand a bag of "a green leafy substance," believed to be weed, to a man in the car behind him.

Bags of the same substance was found in Keef's car as well as a cup of a purple drink, which is commonly known as "sizzurp," that rapper Lil Wayne frequently references to in his songs. In the mugshot taken by the Miami Beach Police, the rapper appears to have bloodshot eyes and a dry mouth, signs indicative of him having used marijuana.

When he was questioned regarding the same, Keef did not bother denying the allegations. "When you find weed in my urine, I'll just get my attorney to get my marijuana card," Reef told the police officers, Spin reported. "You'll find weed in me."

While Keef was charged with DUI, 4 others were charged with misdemeanor and possession of weed. One of the latter 4 has a rap sheet that includes drug charges and robbery in New Jersey.

According to the latest reports, Keef and his companion were released on bond, on the same evening. The rapper was also arrested in January this year for breaking and entering the house of producer Ramsay Tha Great and assaulting him.
