CBS just released the synopsis for “Scorpion” Season 3 Episode 23 airing on May 1 that will serve as the season finale. In it, what was supposed to be a simple job extinguishing a tunnel fire by Team Scorpion becomes catastrophic. As a result, the team will have to help two of their team members race to the altar for their wedding.

“Scorpion” Season 3 spoilers and the just released synopsis reveal that the episode will feature Happy (Jadyn Wong) and Toby’s (Eddie Kaye Thomas) wedding. But, as Thomas himself has said in an interview, the show will not be “Scorpion” if the wedding will go through without any complication. This could mean that the wedding will not happen in the current season.

The CBS press release however for the “Scorpion” Season 3 finale indicated that the wedding will be featured in the episode. TV Line likewise said that Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Walter (Elyes Gabel) are playing huge roles in the wedding. This is not surprising since they have been helping out a lot in the preparations.

What could prevent the much awaited wedding from happening would be the Team Scorpion performing their mission on the day itself. But, it could also mean that Paige and Walter will get the chance to do everything they can to see that their friends’ wedding will go on as planned in the “Scorpion” Season 3 finale.

Meanwhile, “Scorpion” Season 3 had its series lowest ratings with its episode aired Monday. The latest episode had 40,000 less viewers than the previous one according to TV Series Finale. This is unfortunate since CBS just officially renewed the series for a fourth season last month. But, there is no word yet on how many episodes the new season will have.

Do you think Toby and Happy will have a shot at their happily ever after in “Scorpion” Season 3? Will the series finale help the series recover its declining ratings? Share us your thoughts and comments in the section below.
