Katy Perry New Hairstyle Makes Her Look Like Eminem & Ellen DeGeneres, Claims Fans

Katy Perry has changed her hairstyle twice within a span of a few months and fans are having mixed reactions about it. While most of them love her constantly shifting style, others have likened her latest hairstyle choice to that of Eminem and Ellen DeGeneres.

The "Rise" singer got a blonde pixie cut immediately after her breakup with Orlando Bloom. Even though Perry carried off the haircut with panache, people on the social media started comparing her to Miley Cyrus, who had opted for a similar haircut after splitting from her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, back in 2013.

On April 10, Perry shared a video of her getting an even shorter platinum blonde haircut, on the Instagram story, captioning it, "When your eyelashes are longer than your hair, you know you've just gotten cut from Chris McMillan [the celebrity hairstylist]." Later, the pop star posted a snap of her finished look. The edgy expression on her face said it all as she fiercely stared at the camera with fierce, green eyes, dressed in a black leather hooded jacket.

The new hairstyle broke up the Perry followers into two groups. While the first group embraced their idol in her latest avatar, the second group could not stand to see Perry cutting her hair so short.

"Anyone else think Katy Perry should stop cutting her hair? She looks awful," one of the fans wrote. Another fan shared a similar sentiment, commenting, "For what it's worth, I liked your hair better when it was long & black."

Some fans eve went as far as likening Perry's hairstyle to male celebrities such as Justin Bieber and Eminem, Ace Showbiz reported. Others thought she looks like the popular talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres.

Apart from her ever-changing hairstyle, Perry has been embroiled in rumors when it comes to dating life. After her breakup with Orlando Bloom, she has been romantically linked to Ryan Phillipe by the media, a guy she barely knows, Metro reported.

Phillipe was recently forced to take to the social media to clarify the fabricated story. "I am not dating Katy Perry," he wrote. "Barely know her. Please stop flying helicopters over my house. She is not here."

Katy Perry posted a hilarious reply, feeling empathetic towards the guy. "Hi, nice to meet you, sorry bout that @RyanPhillippe carry on, lol," she wrote.
