Earlier this month, Kathy Wakile revealed that she will venture into a new life outside television. According to Page Six, the former "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star will venture into culinary projects. The reality star said culinary is her "passion."

Kathy Wakile was part of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" franchise from 2010 to 2016. She explained that the show was a "fun chapter" in her life. However, she is now ready to face other challenges outside of the drama.

For starters, Wakile is the cousin of Teresa Giudice. The latter continues to appear in "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and may still be part of the Season 8 roster. She said that while she doesn't always keep in touch with her cousin, she went over when Giudice's mother passed away.

Meanwhile, another reality star has just confirmed that she will no longer be part of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 8. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jacqueline Laurita confirmed the bad news.

As fans know, Laurita had serious beefs with two of her co-stars in "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 7. The explosive drama with Giudice and Melissa Gorga seems to have affected her departure from the show. Laurita said the Bravo feels that she no longer has an "authentic connection" with the cast members.

Jacqueline Laurita went on to reveal that Bravo offered a part-time position for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" Season 8. She refused the offer since she said it "didn't feel right."
