Nintendo Switch was released last month worldwide and it has proved to be a fortune for the company. As per the reports, Nintendo has sold over 906,000 Switch units in the United States alone last month.

Nintendo Switch is a major success and the hybrid console has sold faster in its launch month than any other video game console in Nintendo's history as per the company. The console was released on March 3 this year and has sold nearly 1 million units in just 29 days of its launch.

The Nintendo Switch has been a success but it still lags far behind the major players of the console gaming industry in terms of sales stats. For example, Microsoft Xbox One was sold more than 2 Million units after just 18 days of its launch and Sony PlayStation 4 was the best-selling console with 2.1 million units sold in just 14 days after its availability, as reported by Polygon.

Nintendo Switch also had some interesting titles available at launch. One of them was "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" which has enjoyed immense popularity and has sold over 1.3 million copies in the Unites States. Nintendo announced that they have sold 9,25,000 copies of "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" for Nintendo Switch and 4,60,000 copies for the Wii U, as reported by Kotaku.

Nintendo said that "While Nintendo Switch sales are off to a record-breaking start, shipments have not yet been able to keep up with such high demand. Nintendo is working to make sure everyone who wants a system is able to buy one, and more systems are continually being shipped."

Nintendo Switch's immense success has created a milestone for the company and "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" has also become the fastest selling title in the company's history. The company is expected to make more announcements regarding the sales and other financial information on April 27.
