Chromebooks are essentially popular among the people who want to buy sub $500 laptop. Lenovo has launched a new Chromebook, Lenovo Flex 11 that is priced less than $300 and performs great for the price.
The newly launched Lenovo Flex 11 belongs to the "Flex" series from the company that offers a 360-degree hinge. The Chromebook is packed with features that are hard to find at this price point. Lenovo claims that Flex 11 comes with a drop-resistant enclosure made of plastic and can handle accidental drops from 2.4 feet. The Chromebook also features a spill-resistant keyboard that can handle up to 330ml of liquid spills, as reported by Anandtech.
Lenovo Flex 11 features a quad-core ARM-based SOC that runs at 2.1GHz. The device also features 4GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage. The Chromebook weighs 1.35Kg making it portable for carrying around easily. The device is complete with all the input and output ports. It has two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, a standard USB port and an SD card slot, as reported by TheVerge.
The battery life of Lenovo Flex 11 is great and the company claims it can last up to 10 hours on a single charge. The device uses reinforced ports and a sealed touchpad so that it can handle accidental water spills. The keyboard features special channels that help draining out the liquid without damaging the electrical components.
Apart from the impressive feature set, the Chromebook has a cheap price. The device will retail for $279 when it will be available this month. The Lenovo Flex 11 gives a great competition to other Chromebooks on the market which are available with same hardware but come with a much higher price.
