HBO recently released some promotional photos for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 and one image stood out. This image fuelled the ongoing speculation that Jaimie kills Cersei and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau did little to quell this theory.

The promotional photo shows Jaimie Lannister standing beside his sister Cersei who is on the Iron Throne. Jaimie has his sword on display. According to The Express, the image led fans to believe that Jaimie eventually kills Cersei after he kills one uncontrollable monarch in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaimie Lannister, commented on this speculation in two separate interviews about "Game of Thrones" Season 7. He told Harper's Bazaar that it is a good theory and that it would make sense if Jaimie kills Cersei. He called it "the perfect little nod" to see her die from her brother's hands.

Likewise, he addressed this speculation during a podcast interview for AOL's BUILD Series. The actor talked about the various "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers out there and noted that some are actually true. What stood out for him though is the ongoing speculation or theory that Jaimie Lannister kills Cersei in the installment.

"Now he's going to go and kill Cersei. There's no question about it and it might happen, who knows?," Coster-Waldau said as quoted by Winter Is Coming. The "Gods of Egypt" star also looked back on Jaimie's look from the Season 6 Finale. Fans may remember this scene when Jaimie returned to Kings Landing in time for Cersei's coronation. He saw his sister on the Iron Throne and fixed her with an interesting look.

Fans thought Jaimie's look meant he had enough of Cersei's wickedness, which could lead to him potentially killing her in Game of Thrones" Season 7. Coster-Waldau added that the look could be a reminder to why Jaimie killed the Mad King in the first place.
