Jennifer Garner Talks First Kiss Post Ben Affleck; Reese Witherspoon Hunts New Man For Friend

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their split in June 2015 but she only officially filed for divorce nearly two years after. It is not surprising therefore to learn that both are taking some time before moving on romantically. That is not to say that they have ruled out dating other people in the future.

A source close to the ex couple says that Ben Affleck, 44, is not dating anyone seriously. Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner’s love life has said to become a new obsession to her close friend of many years, Reese Witherspoon. Reportedly, the “Legally Blonde” actress is on the hunt to find a new man for Jen. She wants to host dinner parties so Jen can meet her potential suitors.

Reese Witherspoon is happily married to agent Jim Toth after her own high profile divorce from Ryan Phillippe. Reese is advising Jennifer Garner to look for a guy who works behind the scenes rather than a big star like Ben Affleck. The two friends recently celebrated Jen’s 45th birthday together.

In a revealing interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Garner revealed that she didn’t kiss anyone for eight months after her split from Ben Affleck until she really had to. It was for a love scene for her movie “Wakefield”. The “Miracles from Heaven” actress joked that she had become rusty when it came to kissing. She also felt weird doing a love scene at that point in her life that she wanted a shot of alcohol to be able to do it.

Jennifer Garner refers to the period after her split with Ben Affleck as her year of wine. She likewise admitted that one of the pains in her life is having completely failed at marriage twice according to US. Jen was previously married to actor Scott Foley. Even if her heart is a little on the tender side post-split, she stays committed co-parenting with Ben their children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
