"Pokemon GO" is having an all green "Worldwide Bloom" for its first true Micro-Event. Grass Pokemon will be around frequently this week. The creation of Micro-event will set Niantic and the game into another path.

Grass Pokemon will be featured more frequently in the Augmented Reality game "Pokemon GO." The wild will be seen with more Grass Type Pokemon. Players who specialize in Grass-Type Pokemon can level up their beloved grass-loving pets and catch some more. But the event got a little advertisement from Niantic, and there is a reason for this.

The whole "Pokemon GO!" world sees the addition of Grass Pokemon while the event commences. Although this is an event, this event is pretty small. It is only for a few days (from May 5th to May 8th) and it doesn't last for a week. No XP nor Candy nor stardust bonuses are available, as reported by Forbes. No holiday, new Pokemon and a lot of things that happens when there's a "Pokemon GO!" event.

Perhaps the only bonus in this event right now is the 6 hours lure on PokeStops because of the promo's existence. It is claimed that Niantic plans to have one major event every month, and an additional smaller event (or Micro-event) alongside the major one. With this, "Pokemon GO!" players will remain engaged in the game.

These "Pokemon GO!" micro events are still worldwide in scope. For players who wants a community-specific event, Niantic partners with Knight Foundation just to bring that, as reported by Pocket Gamer. The first target would be on May 7 in Charlotte, North Carolina. These events are only available in the United States at the moment. It is not still confirmed if Niantic will hold community-specific events outside the USA. So stay tuned for more updates.
