Ghost Rider returns with a vengeance in the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Finale, Episode 22 titled "World's End." His return is timely, given the presence of a powerful Inhuman threat and with Aida's plan to destroy the world.

Comicbook shared several photos for the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Finale, which show the return of Robbie Reyes aka Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna). The consequences that lead to his comeback are unknown. The last time fans saw him was in the winter finale.

According to TV Line, Ghost Rider sacrificed himself during the quantum explosion. He disappeared to another dimension with his uncle Eli Morrow during their fight. How he managed to escape remains to be seen in the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Finale.

It is only fitting to bring back Ghost Rider in the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Finale given that he is vital to the team's quest. According to the synopsis for Episode 22, SHIELD must face off with the deadliest threat that has taken residence in Grant Ward's body. This threat is a powerful Inhuman Hive that was transported from Maveth.

Likewise, SHIELD has Aida to take care. Even with the destruction of HYDRA, the villain still wants to destroy the world. The promo for the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Finale shows Aida start to execute her plan to end the world.

Now that Ghost Rider is back, SHIELD can at least feel more confident and secure that they can defeat their enemy. The more hands involve the better chances they have of taking down Aida and defeating the powerful Inhuman Hive threat. Will the team stop Aida from ending the world and kill the Inhuman Hive in Grant Ward's body? Find out when the "Agents of SHIELD" Season 4 Finale airs May 16 on the ABC.
