‘Lucifer’ Season 2 Finale Spoilers, New Promo: Dr. Linda Hurt, Charlotte’s Powers Return

Lives are at stake when Charlotte's powers return in the "Lucifer" Season 2 Finale, including that of Dr. Linda. The photos show the therapist in the hospital and a new promo for Episode 18 teases Lucifer and Amenadiel's fate in the hands of their mother.

One photo for Episode 18 from Flickering Myth shows Maze carrying a bloodied woman in her arms. The demon looks completely worried and seemingly in tears. In another image for the "Lucifer" Season 2 Finale, Maze is outside a hospital room while Lucifer is inside talking to the wounded person.

This patient is no other than Dr. Linda. The first trailer for the "Lucifer" Season 2 Finale shows her wearing the same floral dress seen on the bloodied woman in Maze's arms. It is also safe to assume that the voiceover in the new promo belongs to the therapist. It remains unclear what exactly happens to Dr. Linda in Episode 18, but the trailer hints Charlotte is to blame.

The promo for the "Lucifer" Season 2 Finale teases that Charlotte pays Dr. Linda a visit at her clinic. Things take a wrong turn when she unleashes her powers (celestial light) on the therapist. This is probably the cause of those burnt wounds on Dr. Linda, to which Maze and Amenadiel have no choice but to take her to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, Lucifer and Amenadiel are also in trouble with their mother. The promo for the "Lucifer" Season 2 Finale hints that they are unable to fend her off because her powers have returned. The devil worries that it would be too late to stop her from her evil plans since she has become more powerful.

However, showrunner Joe Henderson told TV Line that the devil finally figures out a way to stop Charlotte in the "Lucifer" Season 2 Finale. "Lucifer finally answers the question of, 'What do you do with a problem called Mom?' he said.

One of the photos for the "Lucifer" Season 2 Finale shows Lucifer holding Azrael's blade. Perhaps getting rid of Charlotte involves bringing her back to Heaven with the lighted sword.
