The creators have since teased that Rick once again turns himself into a pickle in "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 titled "Rickmancing the Stone." Interestingly, a sneak peek at the development of the installment may have given fans an idea of what happens this time with Pickle Rick.

"Rick is free, but he won't be going on more adventures until this summer. A pickle will rise...," read the post on the show's official Twitter page. This announcement came following the release of the season premiere and after fans asked for the release date on "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2.

It seems "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 will see Rick turn himself into a pickle. According to Den of Geek, the post is a reference to a YouTube video from Adult Swim that shows Rick as the vegetable. The video opens with Morty in his grandfather's garage. He finds a talking pickle on the table and realizes it is his grandfather. The video does not show what happens to Pickle Rick, but a sneak peek at the development of Season 3 may have given a clue.

Adult Swim released a sneak peek at the development of Season 3 on its website. The video was presented during last year's San Diego Comic-Con. The events in the video is telling of what happens in "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2. The clip features the adventures of Pickle Rick.

However, Pickle Rick does not look like your typical pickle since he has multiple legs. The sneak peek shows Rick behead a rat with a contraption. He then uses the animal's brain to transform himself into a muscular and powerful pickle. Perhaps the show's tweet that "a pickle will rise" in "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2, is a literal interpretation of Pickle Rick walking on two legs.
