iPhone X Versus iPhone 8 Plus: Will Their Different Battery Size Matter?

iPhone 8 plus has already been released but when it comes to the anticipation of a smartphone buyer, it all depends on their impulsiveness or if they can wait a few more months to get the higher-end phone. With the latest news about iPhone X, differences in battery sizes might be a determining factor for future iPhone X buyers and for those iPhones 8 plus users who want to make the big switch. iPhone X is the 10th-anniversary edition of iPhone representing the Roman numeral number ten.

In a report from Gadgets 360, a Chinese certification site revealed the battery size of iPhone X even before it is made to be available. Ever since Apple company does not generously share their flagship mobile's specifications during a product launch. With this newest information leak, buyers can now wait for the release of iPhone X and decide on the differences in price and leaked specifications.

iPhone X has been revealed to have a bigger battery at 2716mAh as compared to iPhone 8 plus having 2675mAh only. Although without spoiling the said news leak, the performance of these two batteries does not differ a lot in terms of talk time, internet use, video playback, and audio playback. In a report from Know Your Mobile, iPhone X and iPhone 8 plus both supports wireless charging with the only 1-hour difference during internet use and video playback.

What is more interesting is that iPhone X is much slimmer than iPhone 8 plus, regardless of its bigger battery size. In addition, iPhone X sports a massive 5.8" display having 2436 x 1125-pixels at 458 ppi edge-to-edge compared to that of iPhone 8 Plus's 5.5" display with a 1920x1080-pixel resolution at 401ppi only. Both phones work on the same iOS 11 OS and hexacore processor with A11 Bionic chipset as well as 3GB of RAM and the same storage options: 64GB or 256GB. They also have both 7-megapixel front and 12-megapixel rear cameras.

To help finalize their differences, iPhone X, being the higher-end will cost a whopping £999 (64GB) and £1149 (256GB) while iPhone 8 plus is at £799 (64GB) and £949 (256GB). It all depends on the budget and the looks as the trend now focuses on bezel-less screens and portability.
