The death of the popular rocker Tom Petty has already created hullabaloo among his followers. Now, the investigation is on regarding Petty's death even after the rocker's complete autopsy.

The world always remembers Petty as one of the best consistent and successful rock stars, also a legendary musician. He served as the lead singer of the famous band "Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers". He also recorded hit singles with the "Heartbreakers" and as a solo singer.

Last Sunday (Oct. 1) at night Petty was found completely unconscious at his known Malibu home. According to TMZ, he was not breathing, and it seemed that he suffered cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital where he was put on the life support. On Monday evening the 66 years old great rocker breathed his last.

According to USA Today, the spokesman of the Los Angeles County coroner, Ed Winter, reported the associated press that Petty's autopsy was performed on Tuesday. Winter utters significantly about the investigation associated with Petty's death. The spokesman reveals that coroner conduct investigation only when the deceased didn't attend any doctor in the last six months. Winter has also made it clear that there is no question of any foul play.

Now, the important thing is the toxicology screening of Petty must help to know whether the rocker had taken any drugs or not. But, the key fact is it could take a few weeks to have the result of this test. In 2015 the famous rocker told Men's Journal that he started smoking when he was just 17.

Petty stated that he never pretended that he is trying to quit. He confessed that he is an addict, but didn't light up when he was in the car because other people get upset. In a word, Petty was the long-time smoker.
