LeBron James just got done dominating the United States-basketball scene with his Miami Heat winning a second-straight NBA championship, but all the current talk revolves around whether the MVP would be taking his talents abroad in coming years. It doesn't seem like it.

An anonymous source indicated that James isn't expected to play in the 2014 World Basketball Championships in Spain, nor is he likely to join Team USA for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

"LeBron is going to be three years older during the next Olympics (he's 28 now). He will have two older boys. He has a lot to endure with his family," the source said. "He played in three Olympics. Everyone that knows LeBron knows it's always based on a decision at that moment. But if the moment was today, the answer would be no. The only way I could see him playing in the Olympics is if his country really, really needed him to play."

One would like to think that the nation that invented basketball would be able to succeed on an international level even without James, but the team is losing some key components. Besides James, the squad that won gold in 2008 and 2012 will most likely lose Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony as well. USA Basketball director Jerry Colangelo doesn't think it's a question of age however.

"I don't think he will ever [get] too old. He can be 40 and still be able to play. Think of what he might be able to accomplish in terms of legacy with one more medal," he said. "We'll cross that bridge later."

In the meantime, James is enjoying a non-basketball-related stay in Guangzhou, China. The suite he's staying in at the hotel comes with a 24/7 DJ at James's disposal apparently. The star posted a video of the dude spinning discs, and then posted another video eight hours to assure viewers that it wasn't a hoax.
