Not only were Team USA's World Cup dreams on the line this week but also so was the relationship of Carli Lloyd and her fiancé Brian Hollins. According to the World Cup hero, she blocked Hollins from coming to the game. According to Lloyd, it's for the good of the team and their relationship because friends and family distract her. Alex Morgan Returns in 79th Minute for United States in the World Cup

When the Women's World Cup began one of the stars from Team USA, Alex Morgan, was not in the starting lineup. Morgan had been battling a bone bruise on her left knee that she received on her home team in Portland. After not playing since April 11th, the 25-year-old forward returned in the 79th minute of America's opening game against Australia. John Wall may be one of the best players in the NBA, and rookie Andrew Wiggins may soon join him, but the duo have launched scathing attacks on two of their teams. Wall has attacked Team USA, just weeks before the 2014 FIBA World Cup, whilst Wiggins has (privately) verbally assaulted the Cleveland Cavaliers.
