China Bans 'Attack on Titan' Anime

China has a knack for banning anything fun. First there was Google. Any chance the Chinese had of using the most prolific search engine on the net has long since been taken away from them. More recently a bunch of Animes have been prohibited from appearing online in China. One of those Animes is the popular Attack on Titan series. According to Kyodo, China shut down eight websites with Animes that they say encourages juvenile delinquency and glorifies violence and sexual content. According to one Ministry of Culture official, Liu Qiang, the ban preserves the sanctity of the younger Chinese generations. He says he wants to "protect the healthy development of youth." Jaycee was busted with Taiwanese movie star Ko Kai in a raid on his Hong Kong apartment, having admitted to marijuana use and found with 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of marijuana.
