Athletic brand, Nike, announced this week that it would push back the release of Lebron James' new Lebron 12 shoe "due to cosmetic issues." According to WWD, the sneaker was scheduled to hit stores in China on October 1 and become available globally by October 11.

James, who is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers this season, wore last year's Lebron 11 model only twice during the 18 games of the regular season. James explained, "I could wear them, but they don't feel as great as I want them to feel. So we're redefining them, and I feel like this next round is going to be perfect."

Stay tuned for a new release date coming soon.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America has created an Eyewear Designers of the CFDA group with the aim of boosting the eyewear sector.

"The formation of the Eyewear Designers of the CFDA gives credit to the important role that these designers play not only in the accessories space, but in the American fashion industry at large," Steven Kolb, chief executive officer of the CFDA, told WWD.

The Eyewear Designers of the CFDA will focus on runway partnerships or ready-to-wear collaborations and a CFDA press day for eyewear designers that will make its debut next year.

Fashionista reports Chanel will show its Métiers d'art collection at Schloss Leopoldskron, just outside of Salzburg on December 2.

Schloss Leopoldskron is actually the water-facing front of the Von Trapp house from Julie AndrewsThe Sound of Music. Today it is primarily used as a venue for conferences and other events.

Karl Lagerfeld, head designer and creative director of Chanel, loves to travel the world with his Métiers d'art collection. His past collections have always taken inspiration from the places they've showed. Perhaps the upcoming Salzburg show will have a distinctive Austrian flare.
