It seems as though Kanye West's 2013 album "Yeezus" may have a new single. The next track to get a radio release from the record will reportedly be the fan favorite "Bound 2."

Hip-hop-n-more.com reported today (Aug. 22) that Kanye West and his label have hand-selected "Bound 2" to be the follow up to "Black Skinhead." That first single from "Yeezus" was not released in advance of the album, as is common industry practice. Instead, "Black Skinhead" was released to radio on July 2, over two weeks after "Yeezus" was officially released on June 18.

The interactive video for "Black Skinhead" followed a few weeks later, officially released on July 22. Though, like "Yeezus" the clip leaked before its official release date.

After "Black Skinhead" failed to make a real mark on the Billboard charts -- peaking at No. 21 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and No. 69 on the Hot 100 -- it seems as though 'Ye is changing directions, opting to make the highly acclaimed track "Bound 2" the next single.

Featuring a sample from Ponderosa Twins Plus One's "Bound," "Bound 2" features a powerfully wistful West, who is in love. "One good girl is worth a thousand b*tches / Bound," West states. Of course, the lyrics still come from the hardened rapper, but he tries.

"Bound 2," if it is the next single off "Yeezus," is an interesting choice. Though its lyrically tight and certainly interesting musically, it's not necessarily the most commercially viable track off the record. If West's crew is looking for the surefire hit that "Black Skinhead" was not, "Blood on the Leaves" or even album opener "On Sight" would have been better choices.

Official word from West has yet to come on whether or not "Bound 2" will actually be his next single, so fans should keep an open ear.
