There have been plenty of reactions and criticism aimed at Miley Cyrus' latest performance featured at the 2013 Video Music Awards on Sunday, but what did her collaborator Robin Thicke think of it? According to some sources, the "Blurred Lines" crooner was not happy about having the show stolen during his song by the 20-year-old twerk queen. Also, some are even saying that Miley's management didn't expect her to be so raunchy at the awards ceremony!

First of all, both of these stories have conflicting reports, but it is a good idea to hear from both sides.

"Miley's team is freaking about that performance," one insider revealed after the performance. "They saw the rehearsals, but those were really played down compared to the live performance."

"It's the VMAs, of course she's going to do a standout performance!" a second Cyrus source explained. "No one (from her team) was shocked by this."

Which side are you on?

"Robin thought it would be fun to include Miley, but he didn't realize how much she would overshadow him. This was his big night and big performance," one source said about the breakout artist. "I don't think he would have done it knowing what it ended up like."

The source added: "He's also super bummed that he didn't win, especially Video of the Year."

It's obvious that Miley stole the show, but everyone is still talking about his song "Blurred Lines," so this source might be jumping the gun a bit. In fact, another insider countered this statement saying:

"He had fun and was fine with how it came out. He knew what they were going to do and thought it was fun and awesome. He had a great time."

One again, conflicting reports make this story into pure gossip, but it would be great to hear what Robin Thicke actually thought of Miley twerking all over him during his song.
