Harry Styles Dating Rumors 2013, Parties w/ Ex-Girlfriend Taylor Swift [PHOTO]: 1D Heartthrob Responds to 'Red' Songstress' VMAs Diss, 'It's All Good'

Despite Taylor Swift allegedly dissing her One Direction ex-boyfriend Harry Styles on two separate occasions during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, the two were photographed together at Robin Thicke's after party! This wass the first time the two had been seen in a social setting since their break up back in the winter, let alone being photographed together! So how did this picture come about? It definitely had something to do with their mutual friend, singer Ed Sheeran.

Last night at the New York City premiere of One Direction: This Is Us, Styles was asked about hanging out with Taylor for the first time.

"We went for dinner," he said. "I had a mocktail."

"Yeah, I went for a drink with Ed and some friends," he added. "It was good."

And when he was asked about Taylor's acceptance speech, Styles said, "It's alright, she likes a joke. I like a joke as much as the next guy, so it's all good."

During the VMAs, Taylor reportedly said a profanity during One Direction's time on stage. Also, during her acceptance speech for "Best Female Video" for her song "I Knew You Were Trouble," Taylor said, "I also wanna thank the person who inspired ['I Knew You Were Trouble'], who knows exactly who he is, because now I got one of these!"

Clearly a jab at Styles, according to a source the One Direction boys apparently laughed all of her comments off:

"All of the One Direction members have seen the video of Taylor [allegedly] talking negative about them and they laughed about it the entire time and thought that she should worry about important things besides talking s*** about them. They think it's sad that they affect her attitude so much and she should grow up!"

Whether they actually think she is "sad" or not, it looks like Taylor and Harry are at least taking the right steps towards reconciliation. Earlier this month, a source explained that the two were ready for this step.

"Harry was ready to move on months ago and try to remain friends, but Taylor hadn't let go of what happened," the insider explained. "Ed didn't mention Harry for a while, but over the past few weeks Taylor started bringing him up.

"She made it clear that she didn't want frostiness between her and Harry any more," the source added. "She feels she has moved on to a better place - and Harry should know that."

"The tension has thawed. Ed and Harry had a full catch-up at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles," the insider continued. "The next step will be Harry and Taylor meeting at an awards ceremony."
