Are Harry Styles and Taylor Swift flirting with the idea of rekindling their relationship that ended in December of 2012? Though that question will surely linger for some time, the former couple did have a dinner date after the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and now a source has revealed what the two spoke about!

Last month, a source explained that the two were ready to talk.

"Harry was ready to move on months ago and try to remain friends, but Taylor hadn't let go of what happened," the insider explained. "Ed didn't mention Harry for a while, but over the past few weeks Taylor started bringing him up.

"She made it clear that she didn't want frostiness between her and Harry any more," the source added. "She feels she has moved on to a better place - and Harry should know that. The tension has thawed. Ed and Harry had a full catch-up at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles," the insider continued.

"The next step will be Harry and Taylor meeting at an awards ceremony," said the source. We now know that that is exactly what happened!

So what exactly happened on this "secret date" between the former couple?

"Taylor and Harry had a heart to heart. He's very funny, so can make her defenses come down easily," a source revealed. "He told her she was the most stunning girl at the awards and that he was mad to let her go."

This sure sounds like Styles was a bit flirty with his ex-girlfriend. Do you think he's trying to rekindle their relationship?

The insider added: "They're planning another dinner when they're in the same city. Taylor's happy to be back in touch with him, as they have a lot of laughs together but she was hurt and she's cautious of going there again."
